Card change during double-crew driving: always on work
A tab under Tachograph operation. During a card change with a double crew, the card must be set to work for at least one minute before and one minute after. If the slot was set to rest, availability or driving before or after, enforcement officers can fine this as incorrect use of the mode switches (card change during double-crew driving). Per driver, how many changes there were and how often the slot was not set to work before or after.
- For each occurrence the time, the slot, how long the card was out, how long there was no work after insertion, and the vehicle.
- With the fine of the selected country, and the Dutch offence code.
- Preventing it is simple: always change on work, and set the slot to work before withdrawing and before inserting, for the co-driver too.
- Every incorrect change also appears in the driver analysis, with a police cap on the timeline at the moment of the change and a click for the explanation.
